This site is a snapshot of my true passion: my life in the kitchen focusing on four staple ingredients used in almost every sweet and savory recipe. This is a site for anyone looking for inspiration in their kitchen, for the anyone who loves to try new tastes and for those who want to make ridiculously delicious food. From wonderful rustic tarts and cupcakes to one-sheet chicken bakes and tasty pastas, my kitchen is my playground and this is my virtual recipe box of original and adapted recipes that are fuss free and uncomplicated.
My earliest food memories go back to watching Julia Child and other cooking programs with my mother, and being mesmerized by the layouts I saw in her issues of Gourmet. My career covered 25 + years in book publicity, and during that time I attended culinary school, studying pastry arts. I was fortunate to merge both my book publicity career with my culinary background to specializing in cookbooks and lifestyle publicity. Among the amazing authors I had the privilege to work with includes: Nigella Lawson, Yotam Ottolenghi, Michael Anthony, Michael Ruhlman, and many others.
Today, I develop and improvise on recipes that I also style and photograph. I cook for the people I love, and inspiration comes from the cooks and chefs who inspire me.
